No. At Arjava, we only collect payment after your helper has been handed over at your doorstep and all services are completed. There are no deposits or upfront fees required. This is our commitment to earning your trust before asking for yours.
Every helper at our Overseas Training Centre receives comprehensive training in housekeeping, cooking, hygiene practices, and basic caregiving. For elderly care placements, helpers can also be arranged to attend a Certified Elderly Care Course upon arrival in Singapore to build confidence and capability.
Arjava provides transfer and replacement support if there is a mismatch. We offer continued advisory support and guidance throughout the process. Our monthly mediation sessions during the first few months also help address and resolve issues early, so most challenges are worked through before they become problems.
The timeline depends on the helper's nationality and availability. For transfer helpers already in Singapore, it can take as little as 1 to 2 weeks. For new hires from overseas, the process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, including MOM application, training, and travel arrangements. Salwin will keep you informed at every step.
